Remembering the Saints
“And I heard a voice from heaven saying, "Write this: Blessed are the dead who from now on die in the Lord." "Yes," says the Spirit, "they will rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them." Revelation 14:13
Recordare (Requiem) Giuseppe Verdi
The 'Dies irae' is comprised of nine sections; each with its own melodic ideas. In the Recordare, Verdi uses sublime melodies to explore the feelings of loss and sorrow, as well as the human desire for forgiveness and mercy.

May eternal light shine on them, Lord, with your saints, for eternity, for you are merciful.
Other selections include solos, duets, quartets and ensemble pieces from Handel’s Messiah, the Fauré, Rutter & Lloyd Webber Requiems, along with scripture readings, poetry and prayer.
